  • ER Finale

    11:11PM

I just finished watching the series finale of ER.  Good show.  Epic ending.  I wish I followed the show since I first saw it on TV.  Now I'm planning on watching it like a marathon from the first season to the last...lol.  I wonder how long that would take.

  • Tax Season and Car Brakes

    10:09PM

Tax season is here!!!  I still haven't started doing my tax.  I did made the first step which is by looking for the tax form.  I went straight to our local public library then ask where to find them and got the necessary ones for me.  I thought about doing it when I got home but I ended up not doing it.  My elder brother ask me to buy Turbo Tax Deluxe so we can install it in our family computer, so I decided not to do it in paper.  I told him I'm buying it tomorrow so hopefully I will not end up being lazy and not buy it or not do my tax at all.

Aside from my taxes, I also had my car in mind.  My rear brakes have been making those distinctive brake sounds so I check the right rare wheel this afternoon.  Its thinner now meaning it needs to be change.  I didn't bother checking the left brake because I'm changing the right rare, which means I'll be changing the left as well.  That will be done hopefully this weekend or before.

That's it for now.  It was a nice day to do chores and be out and about.  That's all I have to say to that.  Good night.

I am sleeping earlier tonight.  Hopefully this will not take long so I can go straight to bed.

Today is Cesar Chavez Day here in California.  Because of the organization he and Filipinos created in the early 1900s labor unions, especially in the fields, gained power and safer work condition than before.  Cesar Chavez was given credit for that and because of his peaceful way of getting support.  And so here every year, April 30, is a state holiday after this man.

Just a little trivia for everyone.

  • Test drive

    10:16PM

Today, I test drove my friend's brother's 2001 Ford F-150.  I have been wanting to buy a new truck lately and I have almost decided to buy an F-150.  Aside from this the other truck that I am willing to buy is most likely going to be a Toyota Tacoma.  Its not an American car but Toyota has one of the best credibility when it comes to vehicles at the moment; durability and gas mileages.

The truck was okay.  It wasn't the best truck to test drive because it was lifted, not like the ones you would test drive at an auto mall or dealerships.  I did learn more about trucks though.  My friend was very good enough to share knowledge about trucks to me.  I'm still hoping to get an F-150.  Either I test drive and visit dealerships this coming Tuesday or next weekend.  Wish me luck.

  • Facebook, Xanga Application

    12:47PM

Have you ever felt a rush of heat from embarrassment?  You know that feeling of panic that you just have to do something after, like, doing something you don't want people you know to know because it would embarrass you?  I just felt like that a few seconds after I submitted my previous blog.

Prior to opening my Xanga, I was on my Facebook account playing Mafia Wars and exchanging comments with friends and family.  I didn't sign out, I opened a tab to visit Xanga and then wrote my blog.  After typing in my previous blog a notification pop up asking me if I wanted to link my Facebook and Xanga.  Without thinking I clicked confirm or yes combine them.  Then, a second later I realized that ITS GOING TO COMBINE MY FACEBOOK AND XANGA!

The reason I created this account is because I wanted an outlet for my thoughts that I don't want to share with friends and family.  This is my account to vent if I want to or take stands, whether I end up changing my mined while I'm writing or stand firmly.  So, when I realize its going to combine my FB and Xanga, I was at a panic.  My body started sweating and my thoughts were running wild on how I could cancell the link.

I tried looking for a way to remove the link here on Xanga until I couldn't find anything in my profile page that links to Facebook.  I then, thought of erasing my previous post to prevent my family and friends from reading something that might embarrass and humilliate me.  I realize that would take more time so I resorted to cancelling my account.  It ask me three questions and I was getting confuse of it and it seemed like it didn't work.  Still on a panic, I told myself to breath in and relax.  Seconds later I finally visited my Facebook account and typed in "Xanga" on the searh bar.  From there I was able to visit the application and remove Xanga from my account.

Hopefully that one or two minutes of link didn't allow my friends and family to visit this account.  I would like to keep this a secret and my thoughts to myself, and yours...who ever you are.  If there's even someone out there reading this.  This is like my privacy is well kept here.  I'd like to have keep it this way, separating Facebook and Xanga Application.
